Hey All, I work for a Christian sports charity called Kings Sports Ministry. I organise and train leaders, teaching them how to use sports to share life-skills and the core values of the bible to children. "Start children off on the way they should go and even when they are old they will not turn from it" (proverbs 22:6)

KSM Schools Sports Minsitry
Schools Sports Ministry is a new program being brought into KSM to help us reach out to more children where they are. The aim of the session is share life-skills to a larger group of children through life-skill style games. We had our first successfully trial at Bananuli Primary School with 150 children, using catch the tail as our life-skill game which brought out "Being hard Working".

Begging of Army of God’s KSM Ministries
AOGM Project kicked off this month. Lead by Miss. Mable Tusabmu a long term ksm volunteer has a team of 6 strong leaders working in a village just outside Kampala. For me it was a big challenge in translation and working with leaders from a village setting who just to survive are walking the streets selling clothes others working in Owino the biggest market in Kampala.
It was amazing to see these leaders put down there worries to come and teach the children through sports. Starting with a nice number of 30-50 children averages over 4 weeks it will be an exciting project to come.

Calvary Chapel Sports Day
On the 8th May 2010 Calvary Chapel Kampala, Abaana Ministries, Retrak and Grace Fellowship Church Kivulu came together to form a fantastic day of sports for street kids. With all of these children being street kids it made it an even more special day. There was over 300 children and a team from the UK linking with leaders from CCK in running the day. CCK are users of the Kings sports Ministry loan scheme which is great as all of the equipment used at the day was form KSM.
They competed in a mixture of sports with football final which is reffeed alongside Jonah being the highlight of the day ending in penalties. The children got to here the gospel throughout ending it with a sit-down on Obedience. Many children put there hands up to accept Christ and follow-up has shown that a good number of them are coming of the streets on a Sunday to attend church.
