I went across to Jinja (the source of the river Nile ) for the day to help out in a children and youth camp. Things started great as we set up the field and marked out the grounds only for 30 minutes into the day a huge fod and rainstorm came in I had never been in a situation where I couldn’t see the person I was stood next to was insane TIA (this is Africa).
Hey All, I work for a Christian sports charity called Kings Sports Ministry. I organise and train leaders, teaching them how to use sports to share life-skills and the core values of the bible to children. "Start children off on the way they should go and even when they are old they will not turn from it" (proverbs 22:6)

World Cup Slums Outreach
The 2010 world cup in South Africa was always going to be a huge in Uganda. We linked up with a number of other Christian sports organization in Kampala under a children rights network called “CRANE” to pull off the outreach doing medical clinics, schools outreaches, soccer clinics, mini world cup, live screening of the world cup matches on big screens and even Christian movies at half time.
I created a handbook for the programs used in the leaders training before the project started, was in charge of running Kivulu Slums and also the main person running the UK team who came out to help us and sponsored the whole event. Staff Emmanuel was in charge of the accounting for the project and head of the Logistics committee.
With 4 KSM volunteers helping out during the whole event to. In total we reached thousands of children and adult for Jesus Christ. This was by far the hardest event I have ever been apart of, both physically and mentally but I am blessed to know that I had a huge part to play.
