A good friend of mine Kate does a lot of work in Kivulu with all the street kids around that area. I have been down there just to give a hand a few times so much fun messing around with the boys all trying to beat me up, of course not succeeding all in the normal Sunday after church fun fun.
Hey All, I work for a Christian sports charity called Kings Sports Ministry. I organise and train leaders, teaching them how to use sports to share life-skills and the core values of the bible to children. "Start children off on the way they should go and even when they are old they will not turn from it" (proverbs 22:6)

Scripture union August Camp
For KSM my passion is to see the leaders we train go and do us proud for the name of Jesus. Having trained the leaders of SU Kampala for the last 4 month they were ready to
Spice up August SU Children’s camp with sports. In the past they had just used sports as a fun activity with no emphasis on the bible. But for this camp we put in place a structured fun coaching schedule where the SU leader trained the children in three news sports, parachute, hockey and frisbee, also including treasure hunt, competition day and indoor games throughout the week. At the end of each sports session we went into the bible time where the children sat down and the leaders shared the bible with a memory verse, skit and life application all relating to the life-skill topic of each day, teamwork, communication, time management & Friendship. The sit-down was full of life and enthusiasm keeping the children’s attention the whole time. It was by far the best camp I have been on in Uganda for sports ministry the leaders loved it got into it really well and made me so proud. We are looking forwards to future camps during the December period.

23rd Birthday Fun with Ryan Youtz
This year’s birthday is defiantly one I will never forget, started and ended in two different places. I was in the scripture union camp in the morning we had a great day of competition sports and bible time and yes the Ugandan tradition of soaking people on birthdays happened many times. Then I jumped on a taxi back to Kampala to meet up with the other birthday boy Ryan Youtzand a bunch of our friends from all walks of life. “Wonderful Day” Quote from Ryan Youtz.

St Stevens Sports Day's
During the middle of August St Stevens Kisugu had a team from the UK over to help run in mission they were doing. Part of the missions was a two day sports event. I jumped in to give some organization to the days which was great fun but strange working with whites again. Had around 100 children throughout doing lots of fun activities like rely race (african style), chanting fun plus lots of mini group games.
