From the 2nd-10th June Myself and Ben Thomas a volunteer who came out to Uganda for two months visited the 6 districts outside of Kampala that we work in, Wakiso, Entebbe, Mukono, Jinja, Mbarara, Masaka. This was an eye opening trip that helped us see the future potential of KSM in these districts and all so how individual projects have benefited so far from KSM trainings. Entebbe, Wakiso, Mukono are the newest places we have reached out to. Many delegates came from these districts to our ALC, Entebbe worship centre has sense brought in the KSM model and is teaching around 80 children weekly.
Jinja, Mbarara and Masaka were the first three districts we moved into and sense Mbarara has shown to be flourishing especially one project Juna Amagara primary school, sense the annual conference they have introduced and hour each day for sports. The head teacher told us the relationship with teachers and pupils has become much closer, as sports has opened up a new door for the gospel to reach there children. In Jinja doors were opened to 5 new church’s all having no less than 200 children each who were excited by the oppertunities of sports ministry we brought to them.
